Katie Titler, a Spanish teacher in Pulaski Wisconsin found that by using the screen recording app, she was able to enhance her students oral language skills. In her blog post, she shares that, "The great thing about this activity is that it allowed students to really focus on their speaking abilities and reflect with greater precision." Enhancement through technology tools is when technology can create a value-added to the learning goals. In this example, the students are able to participate in conversations in the target language in order to meet the learning goals, record their conversations, hear them, revise and do the conversation again. This would be much more difficult without the technology tools. In addition, the students are co-engaging with the technology tool by doing the activity in pairs. A nice example of co-use and engagement too!
